Welcome to Rugar and I. This is a small collection of songs I've made during the years. Click on anything to know more.
Claus Walder was a German game music composer in the 80's, or at least so they've told me. He made a few brilliant sketches for the Indian c64 game Bombay Breakdown, which never made it further than the 9-minute song-and-dance intro. After that, both the RAM and the money was gone.
Some songs i played at Blip Festival 2007
Released in 2001 or so. A young man's take on our biggest emotions, as filtered through Fasttracker 2.08. Said to deal with friendship, jealousy, love and grief, or something in that direction, but is most often recognized for its shameless A-ha quote.
Made in 1999. This is an all-Fasttracker album, which features both brass stabs and dogs barking. So much for minimalistic 4k tunes.
Mixes influences such as classic game soundtracks and Tin Pan Alley evergreens, with the sounds of 20th century atonality and Salvation Army hymns. My Girl, the Princess is a collage of musical scenes depicting adolescence in the dawn of the third millennium. The songs are entirely made with the MCK system, which should vouch for a genuine twenty-minute NES experience.
